Required Sections


The following sections are required: Abstract, Introduction, Methods, and Results.


Sections must be indicated by a subtitle on a single line preceding it. Variations of the section name are accepted within reason (i.e. "Materials and Methods"). Other accepted variations are as follows:

When a document is submitted, the text is extracted and sections are identified. If text cannot be extracted, or the appropriate sections cannot be found, an error will be returned and no report is generated. 


If the reporting tool cannot clearly identify headers and sections, this may result in an error report being generated with details on how to correct your article before uploading again. Once you have made corrections, you can upload your article again to be checked at no further charge.
